maybe take it to a carwash later then

will they tell me off for scratches on the alloys? dont know if it was me or not though to be honest cause i only checked bodywork when it came

when i got a courtsey car, a guy came round the car with me and noted down any scratches the car had.

Then they checked it again when the car was handed back. If there are any scratches or any damage there that wasnt there before you could be charged for it as they expect the car to come back in the same condition.

I get courtesy cars a lot from my dealership - never ever cleaned them, and always dump them back in their carpark before going into the reception - not once has the car been inspected in my presence.

Not only my usual rule for courtesy cars but also applies to most things: - give it back the way you got it.

it wasnt exactly clean when i got it. was covered in your usual road greasey mess

gave it a blow over with the hose, got smost of the mud off, looks alot better now though to be honest, no more guilt for me.

plus when dropped off i asked if he wanted it washing, he said "no its ok weve got valet's for that"
