Just a thought here, do the abarth owners get it as bad, or does the rear spoiler help move the low pressure area away from the boot so it doesn't get so dirty?

I have the Abarth spoiler on my TA and I don't think it makes a difference. If it does, the window might stay cleaner but the paintwork is unlikely to see a change.

You don't know dirt till you've lived in a semi rural village in the UK in the winter....

Not comparing :D I have lived in Europe so I know a little about that.

The best way to keep the back clean would removal of the stock roof extension and adding a downdraft spoiler like used to be popular on station wagons.

I'm probably jus.t looking for an excuse to fit a spoiler lol, I love how the car looks when it's clean but don't get to see it that way for long!

One of these is what you would need:

500 based muck at it's worst is nothing compared to the staff camping area at Glastonbury last time it was on:

I had to dig a trench around the back of the snakepit bar to stop this mess sliding under the floor and floating our venue down the hill:

Live in that for a week and the 500's back muck is nothing ;)

YES..!!,
the standard AERO tech. one on the Tempra SW worked VERY effectively, barely used the rear wiper, (y)

and as for THAT pic,
I thought it was only the Japanese who could get "styling" so wrong;.)
