Technical Different Alternators for the 1.2

Does anyone know if the alternators for an A/C car would be the same for a non A/C car?

I have one that came from a pop but I now have a lounge that needs one so I don’t want to buy one if I’ve already got one.

I’ve seen 90 amp and 120 amp ones on eBay but both say will fit any 1.2 500.

So a bit of searching it gets more confusing
It seems that the 120A is for stop start cars
There's 70/90/105A for non SS cars
However the number of "Ribs" that's on the belt is also a factor ?
So there's plenty of opportunity for confusion

No they are not the same.

AC cars have higher rated alternators. That said the AC alternator should fit on a non-AC car. You might have to swap the pully though depending on the exact engine and model.

I messaged Club500Italia and they’ve just answered me basically what you’re saying. The 120 amp are for Stop/start A/C equipped cars so I’ve ordered. Cheers guys.
