Ducato Diesel return question

Hi folks, I’ve got a Ducato 2.3 Multijet. What I was wondering is what difference to performance should I expect if I have a broken or blocked diesel return pipe. Hope someone can advise. Stay safe.

Is it a pipe between injectors or pipe between engine and fuel tank?

You shouldn't see any performance Difference however you risk damaging the high pressure pump if it can't return file to the tank to release the pressure and fuel
