General diesel oil change

Im on my second Multipla :slayer: but this time i've got a diesel ,flushing and changing the oil and filter is easy enough. But i thought i read some where there is something i need to do with the car to tell the computer that it has been changed:bang: .Is this correct or do you just do the oil change as normal?

I have just changed my oil and filter, I told my mum, she likes to keep informed.

I didn't do anything else and all is fine.
