DIE!!!!! CAR VANDALS!!!!

I returned to my car after a long day at the office to find my car had been egged!! Got my HGT home washed it and used T-Cut to remove egg from bonnet. My baby was as good as new by the time I had finished! The next day all the marks on the paint had returned!! I think brake fluid may have been added to the recipe!! Next used wet n dry followed by 2 hrs T-Cutting to make bonnet gleam!! Once again the marks returned. I'm gutted, the car was mint. Looks like I need a re spray!

Does anyone now how much a bonnet re spray is these days?

label remover

have u tried some stuff which is used to remove labels (its called label remover - surprise surprise!), its a liquid substance, i had the same problem b4, and it does work, i knw loadsa people who specialize in resprays. where in the country r u - i am in westlondon, i am sure i can get u a good deal if u want m8.

Thank you for the advice. I live in the northwest - Merseyside. I've just booked my car in for a service which I've been saving for. Just after an idea of how much money i'll need to have my bonnet sprayed. This will be the first service it's had since I bought it 7 months ago. Bit worried, think it will probably need some work!! Fingers crossed it'll be fine!!

HGTs are normally more expensive to service than an SX/HLX though. Lot less room under the bonnet for one.

Are you getting it done at a Fiat "service" agent or at an independant garage.

First service!!

I'm not going to Fiat!! I've generally found dealers to charge the earth. Going to a local garage called Grahams who specialise in foreign cars. I took my last car there which was a Honda Civic Lsi and they did a really good job! Will let you all know how they get on with my HGT!
