Technical diagnosing faults on non EFI engines

Hi guys.

to try and help new users to the site, i can only cover what i know about though - which is EFI on petrol engines. Points, dizzys, carbs, jets, float chambers etc etc are all alien to me. Could someone put together something similar covering non-efi cars?

It would be helpful for new users, but also might teach some of us EFI guys whats what (i do like to learn)

Jeez..its the other way round for me!!!...Know where i am with dizzy's, carb's etc....
Must be a generation thing!!!...Now i am off to see if i can work out the timer on the video...

i think it is yeah, i mean i've grown up with computers around me - and all the cars i've worked on have been EFI, i trust electronics and to me it seems obivous the way it all works!
