Technical Delayed power/loss of boost 1.9 mjet

hi all,

Just a question to see if anyone has had this problem.

When ive been driving along, odd times when i put my foot on the accelerator, the car seems to feel like theres no boost, then it will jolt back in and the boost will kick in again.

only started doing this tonight, happened a few times on the motorway.

anyone have any ideas what this might be?

nah mate no Mods on it. just a standard 1.9 Mjet..

Any noises? you checked all hoses? heard of some splitting before with age

Could possibly be the EGR or MAF.

Turbo lag? I get it from time to time I put it down to lag. It's like nothing, nothing, nothing POWER! I love it lol

Could be the egr on its way out? Does it happen in every gear between certain rev ranges?
