I've always bought the ones form http://www.speeding.co.uk (details below) but I am thinking of getting one slightly deeper, so just wondering where people get theirs from?

Touring Car Sunstrips

Touring Car style, deep sunstrips, can be used front rear and even on the sides. 200mm by 1400mm approx Ample for most vehicles.

Full fitting instructions supplied. Available in seven colours:- Blue,Red,Yellow,Silver,Black and White.

This is (was) the speeding one on my car:

Get some dark window tinting film, looks loads better than solid colour sunstrips, and you can get it as deep as you like

Iirc Nico has done it on his HGT

yeah not a bad idea cheers lozz.

the darkness of the sunstrip really goes with the car though, and tbh i miss the sunstrip (not got one on at the mo) for its use - always got the sun in my eyes these days...

I did a template for mine, which I still have.
Just cutting the stuff out is difficult enough let alone fitting it. I made mine deeper and curved the edges down the sides too for a propper factory look (nice pic lozz but rather too dark for us to make out what i did, lol).

Rather than offer to make you one for a price, if you were guna opt for the limo tint film option (fitted inside of course) I could do you a copy of the template Dan (that alone originally took me 4hrs before I got the size/shape right!)

Making it deeper of course obscures your view of traffic lights, if you don't opt for tinted film. If however you're not bothered, and would rather have it opaque, you could just use some quality black signwriters vinyl (not fablon ****e) to make the sunstrip and float it onto the inside with spray as you would tint film.
