Dealer feedback Lincoln/Leicester

Hi,

We are looking at buying a new fiat 500. After visiting our local dealer in Lincoln and talking to a some people we know who have used them we have been put off some what so are looking at other options. The 2 nearest seem to be Rockingham in corby or Sturgess in Leicester. Anyone have any experience and recommendations of these 2? Or even a positive experience with stoneacre in lincoln?

A mate from Lincolnshire bought a Grande Punto from Stoneacre Lincoln & wasn't mightily impressed. It took a very serious fault on his car before they seemed to spring into action & fix something that'd been on-going. On the whole Stoneacres many branches seem to have a patchy reputation at best.

I don't know much about Sturgess although i believe they are an Alfa dealer aswell, which bodes well, because Alfa generally dropped their badly performing dealers a few years ago, leaving only the better ones.

Rockingham Cars are meant to be very good. I was going to get some work done on my car there (though i've now moved so i'm not anymore), and they seemed very efficient from a service side of things. Ive heard positive stuff about them on here too.

I'd say give anything a go except Stoneacre!

Use the experience of others...avoid the dreaded Stoneacre Lincoln.
also Scuny, Grimsby,Peterboro,Rotherham
all fecking Stoneacre sites.

I have been to both as we live about in the middle of them altho Leicester is nearer!
We went to sturgess just after launch......were totally ignored, then when I asked for details etc as I really wanted to order one, he said he didn't know much about them and didn't have any info available!!!!

Next day we went to Rockingham........couldn't have been more helpful and had a lovely time with Kevin who was equally excited about the 500 , answered all my questions or found out the answers for me.

Guess who got the order!!! Kept me informed during the long wait, was good with the few quibbles after delivery and first few months!!

Would go back if I ever wanted another 500 and would recommend highly!!!:slayer:

I spoke to Kevin this morning about a trade in. He said he'd call me back but so far I've not heard anything from him, hopefully tomorrow! From reading around they seem to have the best reputation of garages reasonably close to me and if I hear back from him I'd imagine we'll be going with them. Thanks for the opinions!

I Recently got my Fiat 500 from Stoneacre, I got what I want when I wante no questions asked. I've had no problems with the car. Like any other dealer they just want the money and give you the money. I spoke to someone called Jason he seemed really helpful knew what he was talking about.
