Technical Dead punto

Just picked up my mk1 punto after having head gasket replaced under warranty. Drove it home ok no problem.
Approx 1 hour later I took it out and it stalled at a junction after about 1/4 mile. Can't get it started again. Appears to be fuel in it any ideas?
Edit should have said the starters doing its job but engine doesn't seem to be firing up

Check for fuel past the injector (pop off the air filter cover top, peer down the throttle body while someone cranks the engine -- you should see a dribble of fuel) and for spark. If neither it must be the TDC ()aka crank, aka rev) sensor.

They hate being disturbed.

Turns out timing had gone out. Crankshaft was slipping on its pulley because the key was u/s

Points to someone tightening up the pulley without locking the flywheel. I'd get the folk who replaced under warantee to cough up.

Ah they did to be fair. Felt bit sorry for him coz he'd taken cylinder head off 3 times in all to find the fault. Only slight concern he's welded key back in rather than replace with new part so not sure how many miles it will have before problems again.
At least he's been honest & helpful will take it back for jobs I can't manage in future

New pulley's don't cost the earth. Ring Big Mick at eurocarcare in Derby (goole will find) with your vin to hand and get a new one in.
