is this a good idea - my bravos MOT runs out next august. i wont be having the car as of next June. At the minute the pipe between the cat and the mid section rattle a little, so i was thinking of having it welded (as the clips as tight as possible and no amount of putty can save it). but then i thought, why not just get a pipe welded straight from the manifold to the mid section.

yes / no ?? any ideas why not


p.s i already have a supersprint exhaust system (up to the cat)

It will never pass an MOT again if you do that.

cats-direct do pretty cheap cats. I say that, but they aren't pretty. in fact, the look really ****, but its under the car, and they are still guaranteed 3 years so worth a punt.
better than a de-cat, as Tom said. You cant pass the MOT without it.
