Technical Dashboard warning light

My dashboard is showing a yellow engine on the right hand side.
I don't have a hand book.

What does it mean?

It is on permanently

engine management light.

Is it permanantly on or flashing?

Download the handbook, but in the meantime it means the engine managment system dioesn't undertand a reading it is getting from a sensor.

I am guessing your car is MPi, so can be read.

As rally says probably sensor related

Get a diagnostic done

does the car drive ok, is it using lots of fuel etc, as rallycinq says it will be a sensor but there would usually be a change in how the engine runs if there is a fault somewhere

i have it to sometimes but after a coupple of times it's gone...
