can anyone tell me if the original green ligths on dashboard can be changed with some other. or is it to complicated to do that yourself? thanks

I to have thought about changeing the dash board light colour, But I have come across a few problems which are, that the lights on the centre console are white but have green acrylic moulded into the parts. Which gives it the green illumination.
The only way that I can see to change the colour is to change these pieces of plastic which looks very time consuming and may destroy the original parts!!
Hope this is helpful, If you find another way please let me know as I wanted to make mine blue (similar to the VW Golf)

Dash Lights

What a coincidence! i was thinking the same about changing the green illumination.
I thought the green light came from green LEDs, but if the platic is green, we have to chance the whole part.
What about the other lights?? the ones in the A/C - Fog lights controls?

And again, the coincidence, i want the lights on blue, life the golf's...

There should be a way to do it...

Anyone has changed/painted the dash with aluminium/foliatec films?

Dash light

I can't believe there are so many guys asking the same thing.
I am also thinking to change the dash light to BLue as the Golf and dial face kit.
As I know SPARCO do provide the white dial face kit, but I tried many time to get into their website, but not success.
Anyway, how you open the dash board to get the light bulb and green plastic cover. It is because I have paint in BLUE for painting Clear bulbs so that it looks Blue.

A BETTER LIGHT

Well, I see some people from Buenos Aires, Argentina

I'm from Argentina Too... that's because my English is so bad!!

Of course you can change the light in your dashboard. You can change the face to look like the HGT's white dash... IT'S BETTER LOOKING I THINK

You can add neon light to your dashboard, It looks great but it's uncomfortable to look at.
MY OPINION: NOT RECOMMENDED

About Golf's blue light in Bravo's dash, I'm looking info about it, it would look GREAT !!!!
I'm telling you when I get this info.

Vos tambien tenes un Bravo? De donde sos?
Como te resulta el auto?
Si queres intercambiar opiniones y/o experiencias con otro orgulloso usuario, te invito a que me escribas.
Por ahora solo le cambie el filtro de aire, por un kit de induccion 57i de K&N, y no puedo menos que recomendarlo a todo el mundo !! es una bestia!

Fiajte en el foro de pisteros.com a ver si alguien contesta mi topico.

And about the dash lights discussion. Well, the neon lights on the white dial makes a weird effect (you'll like it or not), but it may be kinda distractive while driving.
I'm not going to open the dash to change the dial lights (yet), but the ones behind the center console (a/c - fog lights switch) will be blue soon

I know blue leds are hard to find, but you can always use plastic colored caps to turn the lights to any colour.

OK, yo tambien le voy a cambiar el filtro de aire

por el momento solo tengo un Cañossilen con doble salida cromada.
Y el chip para modificar la inyeccion no esta disponible todavia, apenas lo este me avisaran de varias compañias que hacen esos trabajos (Diefer, Chipracing, etc)
Con respecto al tuning, voy por un excelente aleron DTM y unas llantas OZ-Wheels F1 Plus 17'

Tengo pedalera Momo Tuning (roja y negra) - combina con el rojo de la pintura y tambien tengo fibra de carbono en la consola

Ahora estoy por entrar a pisteros.com

De que color es tu auto? (amarillo, celeste, azul oscuro, rojo, gris plata)

Le hiciste alguna modificacion ya? (aparte del filtro nuevo y las futuras luces azules -flashean!!-)

Mi Bravo es gris acero, y lo unico que le hice fue el filtro K&N, y polarizar los vidrios.
Tengo en vista el kit Eibach de suspension, pero me parece que en los negocios se estan zafando con los precios ($600), y estoy buscando otra alternativa... alguna idea?
Tambien le cambie el estereo por un Pioneer p4000 + equalizador + potencia. Pero no me gusta la terminacion del adaptador para la consola.
Me gustaria ver como te quedo el tema de la fibra de carbono, porque yo tambien querria ponerla, pero no me imagino el resultado. Tenes alguna foto por ahi?

la cual ya estuviste visitandola

El Bravo que te hablo esta ahi en color Azul oscuro, con llantas Momo M1 en 17 pulgadas y muchos cambios mas (fibra de carbono en el tablero, por ejemplo, de la cual te muestran la foto)

Queda muy bien la arandela en aluminio alrededor de la base de los cambios. Fijate el tuning de Abarth en la siguiente pagina:

Como vas?

Me parece que le quedaria mejor un color mas claro. La fibra que le pusieron a ese Bravo es muy oscura ( o la foto no le hace justicia).
Me parece que quedaria mucho mejor, sacar el panel y pintarlo en tono aluminio.
Lo del marco de la palanca de cambio ya lo estuve mirando. Lo tienen en MotorCars en la Av Cramer, pero habria que combinarlo con otro toque de aluminio en el tablero, o quizas la punta de la palanca en combinado cuero-aluminio.

Vamos! ponete las pilas y sacale unas fotos a tu maquina..
