Hi All,
Have had my multipla for a few years now, and although it is definately the most unreliable car I have ever owned(apart from the engine which is great) I still think it is a superb mpv if you have kids + dogs like me.
Anyhow, like I said, have had many many problems with the car- suspension bushings wearing out, aux belt tensioner bearing breaking up along with just about every part of the interior trim falling off, and these were all relatively easy to repair but I am now flummoxed.
Last week I turned on the lights and there was no dashboard lights on.The digital display is lighting up, but the speedo/ background is not so its impossible to see my speed at night.
I have done the obvious and checked the fuses(instrument lighting and power fuses) and they are both good.I admit I am having problems finding the control for dimming but am sure its not this(surely this will not go as low as off???)

Any ideas chaps??All other electrics are fine it seems(apart from rear sunroof switch being intermittant-another annoying problem to sort out)

Thanks in advance,

Matt(y)

Hi,
Surely there is more than one bulb- normally the dash is lit by many bulbs- about 15-20ish??
if they have all blown then there is a serious problem!!Cant believe it would be that.

Isn't it just the + and - on the otherside of the digital display from the trip and mode buttons? I think it only has any effect when the side/headlights are on, i.e. you can't accidently change the setting when the lights aren't on.
