Hello
My sons have a 2014 fiat punto and the car is running, but there’s nothing on the dash. No speedo, revs, temp, fuel, the only symbol that lights up is the headlights. We changed the fuse, thought it was fixed, then it went again. The two nearest auto electrical garages have nothing for two weeks….any ideas? I’m thinking it’s shorting somewhere maybe? Thanks in advance!

Nothing new under the sun. Simple car (last one like that, you'll never own easier one in the future).
Check power delivery/quality, connections. It's up to you how you perform "the check".
And CAN modules shared in this area, branch (unplug CAN connectors, one at the time: AirBag, Radio, Blue&Me and other auxiliary stuff).
Main modules of the car are on the separate network (Body, ECU, ABS, that's why car is running and it's a clear hint of what's wrong, where).

Grande after 10/2008 layout (Evo and 2012 will be similar), CAN networks topology, fuses:

Instrument panel basic diagram:

You can also take the panel out and bench test it at home, power it.

Plug OBD2 to the car and try to connect to the instrument panel and others on same network (as for MES it will ask for "YELLOW adapter").
