If they are anything like on the bravo/a marea then they are damn near impossible to change without stripping out half the engine diue to the angle they sit at i n relation to the combustion chamber. If im not mistaken you will see them if you look through the openings in the combustion chamber they sit between the firewall and the back of the engine.

cheers - i think thats where they are!!

scratched half my arm skin off trying to get at the *****ers....

ta

anyone else had a go??

:)

The only "easy" way i got to mine was after i had taken my injector pump off, it wouldnt surpeise me in the least if fiat quoted as an engine out job just to do glow plugs :bang:

Well i changed 2 a little while ago but......it was the 2 nearest the cambelt.
You need some nice long nose pliers to pull the cables off the top of them then you will need a socket and a short extension with one of those go round corner do das;) followed by another short extension or you wont get the turn on them.
They were stuck like a bugger on mine but did come out after i put a little heat into them by running the engine for a short while , but before you go changing them all use a meter and test which ones are dead as the ones at the battery end do not look fun. I did not remove anything to do this apart from the plastic engine cover.
