CV Joint

I have a fiat 1.6sx bravo and having trouble sourcing new cv joint for o/s front. Fiat reckon I have to buy whole shaft at a cost of 200.00
Any ideas anyone

You can get just the CV joint - they are talking rubbish. Just tell me what year is the bravo produced ?
