both of my cv boots have split (outer ones)on my fiat bravo hlx are they easy to change and just need a cv boot kit...?

They are quite easy to change, once you get to them.

For the price of a hub nut, doing them on the bench is the easiest way. Drop the shafts out, remove CV joint, replace boots, refit.

It can be done on the car, leaving the CV joint in the hub but its a bit of pain finding the clip when you are hanging upside down in a wheelarch.
