Technical cutting out

I have a 1.9 its 115, today the car cut out when u start it, hesitated when reved and seems like it us runing on 3 cylinders and loads of smoke out the exhaust then it when u get it above 2000rpm seems ok, no smoke no hesitation, nearly had a accident at the roundabout because if did not accelerate, any ides?

More than likely the EGR valve, clean it or blank it off, loads of info on here about it.
or the MAF sensor on the airbox, try running with it disconnected.

Ha, I'm far from being an expert. My Multi was useless under 2000rpm, then it flew. (figuratively)
I tried to clean the egr but I got fed up trying to get it off so I blanked it off with some tin cut from a paint can.
Cured it right away.

Just got the car back, had all injectors referbished, 2 were leaking so had all done, 260 pounds later car is back and running fine, I have a lot more mpg as well!

Sounds like a good price. Who did the injectors?
