so i know induction kit questions come up alot, I have a 2000 spi sei sporting and ive decided to make my own kit - I have sourced a cing 'bob' but at yet cant go and collect it, otherwise i would measure myself and i want to get the bits ordered asap so im not waiting around etc.
so my questions are, does anyone know the dimensions of the elbow hose i need, as i want to get it as far down behind the light as possible. also for the actual filter, does it matter what sort i get (brand, mushroom, cone etc)
thanks.

I'll show you mine, if you show me yours!
.... then we can do some measuring ;)

I'm the other side of Twyford, so not million miles away (y)
-& i need to take mine off over the weekend.
PM me if you want to pop round.

Here's mine, used a focus kit as a base:

The outer diameter of the bob's outlet is 45mm, I think I used a 52mm-45mm reducer at the point, then 52mm straight alu pipe to a 76mm-52mm reducer elbow, with the focus then plonked on the end. The filter then sits nicely down here:

As long as it's all held in place nicely with our old favourite zip-ties then it's doesn't foul on the clutch arm and I've not had any issues with it sucking up water, before you ask ;)

sorry to drag this back up, whats best to do with the existing breather pipe hose? put a breather filter in there (mot fail tough?) or run a piece of pipe from the induction to it?

Edit: Eklipse have you ran a smaller diameter piece of tubing to the inside of the breather pipe hose and then jubillee clipped it together? cheers
