right i had a post in the cinq section but is kind of evolved so i thought i would post here to open up the views/help
had probs with the turbo running rough on idle with a high tickover(bout 1100rpm)
now on start up it runs like its on 3 cylinders till you give it some revs to 'clear' it
on boost and hard acceleration there seems to be no real problems apart from the odd little hesitation.
also on test runs(on my private track )ive noticed it has big hesitations and kangerooing on tight right turns when you accelerate hard.
i have a non turbo cinq here so ive been swapping parts over to test.
so far....
new plugs
swapped HT's(only done bout 500 miles)
swapped both coil packs
swapped the idle stepper motors
new lambda sensor fitted(car had incorrect sensor fitted)
map sensors swapped
removed induction filter and made sure pipe to turbo was clear
looked over engine and cant find obvious loose wires,vacuumm/induction leaks
the parts swapped to the non turbo cinq seem to be working fine. no real difference on the turbo though i would say its a bit smoother
thinking something may be loose/broken and the right hand turns are highlighting this?
next thing on the list are a new fuel filter and maybe coolent temp sensor.
any input/ideas greatly appreciated as i'd like to get the turbo in to set up the fuelling via the MF2 unit but dont want to put it in if it has another fault.
