Hi All

Just bought a 2014 twin air Panda Cross. However, it has the handbook for a 4x4 - and my dealer's new stock doesn't have the correct handbooks either! Can anyone tell me the correct tyre pressures for the 185/65 R15 tyres? I've searched everywhere for the info, no sticker in the car, no info on line etc. If anyone can point me in the direction of the handbook as well, that would be great!

You should have received a Cross specific insert:confused:

I've yet to check mine as the TPMS sensor reset aspect scares me!

I assumed there should be an insert, haven't got one, and nor does my Fiat dealer! Does it give the tyre pressures in yours?

I don't know Fiat that well. But in all my cars, tire pressure is listed on the inside of the fuel door or inside on the doors (Drivers or passangers). Not sure how to explain in english, but when you open the door, you look at the door or at the chassie that is hidden by the door.. :p

Cool. Do chase that insert though. I'll get you the reference number soon.

Sorry, meant to say that I did find the insert. I found it on the Fiat Elum website. The annoying thing was that entering my vehicle reg brought up the right car details but no specific Cross documentation. It took me ages to realise I could manually search by date, and found it under a much later date than my car was registered.

My new(ish) Cross replaces a twinair 4x4, which the wife and I thought was fantastic. I'll do a report and pictures when we've had it a while.

Tidy(y)

Someone is bound to ask again so could you post the figures please?

Cheers,

Panda Cross 185/65 R15 88H M+S tyre pressures in Bars:

Medium Load: Front 2.4 Rear 2.2
Full Load: Front 2.7 Rear 2.7

If you do a search for Fiat Elum, on that site you can download all the handbooks and extras. As I posted earlier, you can search with your vehicle reg, but in my case didn't find the right documents. You can do a manual search by vehicle & date.

Yes those are the tyre pressures in my handbook ( incidentally, I got a Panda handbook, with supplements for the 4x4, Cross and Blue and Me) and if
any one has the space saver spare it's 4.2 bar.

S.Rosso, I've done a tyre pressure check and reset and had no probs. Just go into
the main menu select tyre pressure monitor reset, check yes, then drive a few miles and you're good!

As a ‘new member’ you have possibly fallen into this forum’s little ‘trap’ :)
The post you just replied ‘thanks’ to is dated 2015… It’s easy to miss the ‘posted on’ dates, especially after a search, of from following the ‘similar threads’ links at the bottom of each page.
The ‘problem’ with this is that it reawakens old threads (which are often superseded by newer info)… but then lots of replies start coming up as others also don’t spot it’s a ten year old thread :)

Just translated these into English.

35psi front & 32psi rear.

Wish I'd checked mine sooner as they were all set to 43.5psi!!!!

Done 1600 miles since new like this :(
AH thats whats known in the trade as a very thorough pre delivery inspection. My 2017 car had to go back immediately because it was still in transport mode and had a top speed of 40mph on collection. It needed a litre of pi; the next day and the wheel muts were finger tight. I bulb failed within a mile too. It took Fiat customer services in Italy to get satisfaction. "Just one of those things" Renault no better, I devised a 200 point check list which I carried out before taking delivery of my last Renault. They had learned not to mess with me so it was just a missing joining piece on the windscreen surround that time. I do think tyre pressures being right is a reasobable expectation. Keep the unecessary bunch of flowers and just check the car over would be my suggestion to dealers.

See above — this is a ten year old thread :)

Brought back to life… but the car in question may no longer be with that owner :)
