Eh up all,

I’ve trawled on here and surprised I could not find a silver paint code for the Cross plastic trims on the side moulding, front and rear bumpers 🤔

Anyone any ideas please

Or if anyone has used an alternative that was a very good match

I’ve always found silver a pig to spray and match in personally

Cheers all 👍

Eh up all,

I’m struggling at my end to find anything at all ☹️

Anything anyone has a lead on or had any work done to touch up a bumper would be appreciated if it has a paint code or even colour name on 👍

I had my wing mirrors painted the same colour as the bumper silver on my previous cross. My smart repair guy said at the time there wasn't a paint code for it and he just matched it the best he could.

Eh up boozyjay

I was dreading 😬 but expecting I may have to go down the match by eye route

I was planning on spraying 2k myself as competent enough to do it, but I’ve got to get the base coat mixed up !!! So no access to paint mixing 🤔

Thanks for the input 👍

Eh up Chris

Yup - I might just have a contact I can use to do the paint scanning I’ll take a trip down

Might cost me a bit more but least the match should be better.

Silvers a pig to spray right and get the even finish - least with my skills 😁

In our area Ketts Auto paints as an example, have reams of paint books to allow a match to be located and can then mix. I would go to a decent independant body shop and just ask them how they match these things, a straight help request often gets a wealth of information.

Eh up Steveetee

I know it well I was in there the other week 👍

Not sure if they have a scanning tool but might ring and ask

I'm sure I read they can scan your paintwork, I have had the same problem with mine it's apparently 953 code I ordered a touch up paint on line, but it's nowhere near I just put a bit on some of the chips as an undercoat I've just bought a little portable air brush so I just want it to warm up now

Fiat reuse [aint codes but have no organisation whatsoever so what you get is pot luck. Could be hte 2000 paint colours or anything else they have used the number for. They sold me 3 useless blue paints which it transpired were nicely matche dto teh blue under the same number from 1963. Chipex do touch up that matches via the reg number and maybe the VIN. My Bravo was a pearlescent blue, Daffo was an unusual shade of yellow, they did both and the match was perfect. I wonder if they also do aerosol cans. Might be worth asking. I found them very helpful.
