What was the status number? U can still tweek things until its 16. Any colour doubts? Throw in another option or two?

As you have gone down the PPS route, can I ask, did u get the voucher from fiat or did ur dealer get it from the fiat PPS guy?

Status is at 16. We're happy with all our original choices so irrelevant really, but thanks for the info. (y)

We're on the Affinity scheme through the Fiat Motor club UK. They would have issued us with a voucher but the dealer seems to think he can do it all just by having our membership number.

I think I've found a couple of fiat options worth adding

They seemed to have simplified it now. I had to mess around getting a voucher, filling it in, email it to various people when I bought my 4x4 last year. My wife's 500 we purchased in September it was just a case of checking eligibility and that was that. Much better.

Isn't it a shame the Beige Cross didn't even make the launch party for the UK dealerships.
I was gonna go for the yellow and get the roof and pillars wrapped in blue, as the Mrs & her family are from Ukrainian blood.
The Red won eventually for me but at one point I had picked each colour. I was a hard choice.
Let's have a wee fiat forum vote, what would be your choice of the available colours if you were to buy & live with a new Cross? I predict that black will be a popular choice. Its a very shiny black but I didn't like it with the matt black of the trim. I think other nice colours will become available over the next couple of years, especially to boost sales before each winter. That 500 NU BLU is lovely. I also see the 500 has a new green.

Bundes

This was only posted 4 days ago guys. Sure I see a green one but here are the missing 2 originals from the other thread.

For those who have been following this new version of the Cross since the rumours last December. We then all saw the first Fiat images, in orange, just before the Geneva world debut, which was in yellow. I think I have found the missing original launch colour for the Cross but in a metallic orange.
Now I think we'd have a winner.

These images are not photos and were found using google.
Where as, the above post, with 5 photos of the Cross were taken for me and sent to me while the dealership launch event was taking place, in late September. At this point, only the yellow had been seen in Geneva. This was before the car mags got a hold of them for reviews.

Maybe once initial sales slow down, fiat know they can hook a few more sales with limited editions with some lovely metallic paints.

BTW: Why did the Antarctica not have a heated windscreen? heated seats? and a really special frost like pearlescent paint would have gone down a treat. I wouldnt have waited for the cross if it had just been fitted with the winter pack.

Shame :(
I do like the cross. Not seen it in the metal yet. I've only had my 4x4 16 months. Hard to justify an upgrade ....... LoL

At least your one has seen a day of dirty action. I'm already looking for places around me that I can go off road quickly and have some fun, then get it washed and back home without the boss knowing. A muddy affair. Hope I dont get caught with mud in my arches rather than lipstick on my collar

Yep, that Orange would have been a no brainier for me had it been available. Suits the Cross down to the ground. Done the yellow thing (very early BMW mini) and had real problems with cows so never again. My current car is red and black and I have vowed never to have a white or black car ever again at least without ready access to a jet wash.

The reason I need a Cross although to be honest a Trekking would have sufficed is that my wife is a Fell/ultra running addict and I am a keen Pike fisherman (takes place in winter only). Both involve country lanes and fields, usually muddy usually (well in the fields case) inhabited by cows. First time it happened the cows were moving along a country lane to be milked, they nonchalantly ignored the other cars (only 2 or 3) in front then came across our yellow Mini. To a cow they stopped and you could almost see their jaws dropping and the thought going through their ruminant minds "wow a giant Buttercup". We were surrounded for a good 5 minutes and licked mercilessly. It was hilarious and the farmer thought so too (I was not aware they could distinguish yellow but obviously they can) the problem came later, washing dried on cow slobber/drool is not fun/easy.

The next time it happened we had parked up in a field, the cows were gone but the slobber told the story. Yuck?

Is my Tuscan Green 4x4 TA likely to be eaten by the belted cows on Dartmoor? (Been alright so far.)

So if we drove the three Crosses on order here to meet a field of bulls, the yellow would be licked to death,
stock-photo-funny-cow-on-a-green-meadow-looking-to-a-camera-with-alps-on-the-background-14995289.jpg mmm your gettin licked big buttercup!

the red would be charged and bashed to death
stock-vector-bull-head-207448747.jpg red just makes me mad!

and the green would ( according to others ) look like what's dropped out their backsides.

I wouldn't risk a White Cross, looks like a cow, they might try and mount it in a loving way. Washing off cow slobber would then seem easy in comparison.

It seems Bulls cannot see the colour red at all, it's a myth apparently. You would be invisible in your Cross Bundes - providing you were parked, it's movement that annoys em!

Well with my past luck with cars, no movement was common.

I have a really good feeling that this car is going to be my best car ever.

I wish more traffic police & traffic wardens couldnt see the colour red.

I would order a cross if it were in orange, after-all those seats certainly look made to match with orange body colour.

We did buy the Antarctica and certainly wonder why on earth they wouldn't have included a 'winter' pack on something with that name. TBH I wanted white but don't like the white cross with all that plastic.... I think white is easier to maintain over the long-term compared to metallics.

Limited editions (unique models) should hold a reasonable value too that was another thing that was in it's favour so a LE Cross would be great.... I wonder, have they ever offered a LE Cross in the past??
