Torrential rain here this morning and very flooded roads. Drove the TA 4x4 over to Manston aerodrome, without any problems. In fact the little Panda is a great car in adverse conditions in my view.
This afternoon however, although the rain had stopped and the visibility was a lot better I managed to crash my Spitfire when coming in to land at Manston.
Pity really as I had come from Biggin Hill via London flying successfully under Tower Bridge, and the QE2 Bridge at Dartford Crossing
Thanks for asking ,but I suffered very little damage and we repaired the Spitfire in about 5 seconds and I took off again, flew out over the sea and returned to make a near perfect landing.,
One coffee later, wipe the Seagull crap off the Panda, and head for home with no problems
Best £30 I have spent in years for a simulator flight in a Spitfire. My birthday present for my 21st (plus 66) but looking old now. No No No the Spitfire not ME
