Right, Im not sure if anyone is intrested but Ive made this thread as a place to log my cars life/mods as time goes on.

My car was bought some time at the end of 08 with aprox 60K with 5months tax and mot and full history for £450 but a blown head gasket.

I replaced the gasket within 2 weeks of owning the car and it has ran perfectly ever since. only thing to go was a coil pack...

And a front shock last month which kicked off all my modding.

I replaced all 4 corners with Bilstein dampers and Apex Springs + fully polybushed and custom made fully stainless brake hoses.
the whole under side of the car was cleaned and stonechipped then painted and then coated with clear Waxoyl.

built myself a induction kit using the cap from a 899 cinq.

made new faces for the dials *LINK* and carpeted the rear wheel arches.

fitted window switches into the doors and filled the hole left in the dash with a vacume gauge.
...

Next I was looking for a P75 cam to fit so i started going around scrap yards.
Most of them tried to tell me ALL fiat engines where the same and tried to sell me any old crap.

I then came to one which has all the engines from the cars pre-removed and in a shelter. Armed with a list of engine numbers, rubbing down paper and a 10mm spanner I found me a p75 engine.
When I asked about the mileage they had the engine logged as only having 9k on it.

So the next day I took the engine from them for £100 and got a P60 SPI throttle body.
When I got the engine I jet washed it to remove the oil/dirt that it was covered in to find a PERFECT engine.

First I removed the throttle body and started matching the parts up from it onto the P60 TB to make a nice bit TB which I have now fitted to the 1.1 and love it :slayer:

These types of threads are great.
Ideal for learning about engine rebuilds and modifications.
So keep all the pics and information coming.
