Courtesy Light and Remote Locking

hi i got JTD which dosnt have the alarm/central locking, however i brought a remote central locking relay and remote from Nige which works great, but i was wondering if it is possible and easy enough to get the courtesy light to come on when the lock is unlocked(and then go off when engine started) and/or the get some visual indication that the vehicle is locked as at the moment i have to stand within hearing range of the lock mecanism to ensure its locked

yes it would be poosible but you would have to come up with your own circuit as there is nothing available off the shelf to do this
