General Coupe without Keys!

Recently acquired a98/Sreg 20v non turbo without keys. I am led to believe that I have to purchase a new lockset to get running. However I have been informed that a Marea ignition and Ecu would do the trick.
I do have spare locks and ignition barrel with blue key but not the compatible ecu and immobiliser. Any ideas?

Can you get to the chassis n.o? if so you maybe able to take the n.o down to your local fiat dealer & see if they can make you a new key. I don't about fiat but that has happened to a few customers of ours(VW) & the parts guy just filled in a form & sent it off & a few days later a spare key arrived, as it's all on a database they have a code for things like that. I think you also need to take your logbook with you to prove you are the owner.

have a look on the FCCR web site.there are companies mentioned on there that can sort your key problem.cost about £170.if fiat do it,cost between £500-£1000 !!

i dunno what that is either, but www.codeman.org can sort keys, but wait for sammi n h to come on here, i think a chip might disable the imobiliser
