Hello everybody , I'm looking for information about my Fiat coupe 2ltr 16v

I want to disassemble the crankshaft pulley to replace the belt, but I can't find anything or turn the crankshaft bolt left or right to loosen it.

Kindly awaiting your answers, thanks in advance.

If you can supply the Engine Series number from chassis plate and age, not the chassis/Vin number. Then I may be able to give more detail.:)

Hi Erik, I found this, strangely enough it wasn't in my 1974-1996 book, but the later one. You were right it in your suspicions, it mentions a left hand thread crank pulley sprocket bolt.:)

Hello Mike, other time thanks a lot for this information, we've got the pulley disassambled, and we're rebuilding this motor.

But I would like to ask if you can also find in the same workshop book the
tightening torque of the camshaft bearings.
This we still haven't found..

Well this Left Hand / Right Hand Thread nuts/bolts is very confusing.

It is / should be traditional to cut notches in the hex apex corners of nuts and bolts. I got caught out on this with our 130TC. No notches. Enter the hacksaw so i never get caught out again :)

FYI your VIN decodes to:

PC - COUPE' (1994-1996)

175.520.0.0 - 2000 16V ASPIR.PLUS CONDIZ.
Engine: 1609610 Vehicle: 00016771 Manuf. date: 7/12/1994
