My coolant (1.7 TD) was looking very dirty so I changed it.... simply undid the bottom hose to let the old coolant out and flushed it and refilled it. However I cannot see the bleed valve anywhere, can someone kindly advise me where this is?
There isn't...!!
Just fill the coolant bottle till "max", and run the engine with the coolant cap of, and heating switch at max as well.
Wait until thermostat opens, the coolant level will drop, fill what's needed, put the cap on, run until fan comes on, let it cool down, check level, fill as needed, done.
Thanks Peter, much appreciated! I have just followed your instructions and all seems well, and temperature now sits at 80 degrees once warmed up instead of 90. Its a shame you sold your Pickup, but glad you are still hanging about to offer your wealth of knowledge of all things Fiorino!
