Hi Everyone

I am currently in the process of fitting a Panda 30 motor into a 500L.
While It fits remarkably well considering how different the cooling shroud is, I have hit a major problem...
Since the direction of the motor has been reversed the cooling fan now moves air the wrong way, making the thermostat and heating system inoperable.

Since neither the block or head seems to fit a 500 cooling shroud I am trying to find a suitable fan.
The fan is around 200 mm in diameter - Looking at pictures I think a giardiniera or maybe a 600 fan might be usable with modification, but I can't find any measurements.

Any help or comments is welcome

Can't you modify the cowlings to fit the bigger head? I think that it is possible and also look more original. Also may i ask how you reverse the motor direction?

I don't think the panda block will accept the 500/126 alternator without major modification. This rules out the 500 cooling shroud/cowling.

The engine has been reversed by fitting the camshaft, timing chain cover, oil pump and distributor from a 126 engine. The panda also has the fuel pump on the right side, however the 126 camshaft doesn't have an eccentric for this, so the fuel pump hole has been blocked and I'm using an electric fuel pump instead.
