I have a 1987 Fiat Ducato motorhome and although the header tank is at the correct level the warning light on the dash board says otherwise.
Anyone know where the sensor is?

Hi. :)

Is it definitely the coolant light?

I do not recall one on my 1990..

Maybe fuel condensate..??

What colour is the light?

Yeah it’s orange, like a water tank with little waves in it

Hi,

Did you manage to fix this, i have the same orange coolant light on permanently on my dash, it's a 2000 Fiat Ducato motorhome. done 200 miles in it no problem at the weekend then started this morning and the light is on. All levels are fine and no overheating

Thank you

This is the light but it’s in orange, is this actually telling the fuel filter needs bleeding? Thanks for your help.

Hi

The same "Water in Diesel Fuel Filter" light is used for the later X250 models. See pic for extract from Owner's Manual. There should be a screw and nozzle arrangement to allow you to drain water out of the bottom of the filter, details depend on the type of filter fitted.

Great thank you, just ordered a new filter which I’ll just swap out tomorrow and check. I done a oil service at the weekend but should have just done full service instead. Appreciate the help!

Thanks for your help! Replacing the fuel filter and cleaning the sensor cured the light on my dashboard. The forum strikes again

Next job is the scuttle panel leaking water into the engine bay, fairly common I here!
