Technical Coolant falling after replacing radiator

Ok at mechanic! It wasn’t thermostat it was that hose he said should be replaced if still an issue, it was proper starting to leak. So the hose is being changed and the heater matrix! Hopefully that is the end of that. Head gasket is fine.

So I think at some point I’ll do the belts + water pump for some preventative maintenance otherwise we keep on driving

Mechanic had told me to check the coolant level the day after and top up necessary as it stabilises after the work but it's halfway between Min-Max when cold so looks ok to me!

Famous last words of course; I've become used to checking the coolant level everyday now, so will check again tomorrow, hoping I can check it less, around once every time I fill up is reasonable I think
