Technical Connecting boom box woofer

Im thinking of buying a boom box for the boot of my car to add a little bass to my radio, there is a power point in the back of my stilo but i wanna know how to wire it up for sound, the boom box has a red and a white port on the side of it would there be much work involved in wiring it up??

thanks but there was not much help there. I was going to connect it to the cig lighter in the boot for its power but I wanted to know how to connect it to the stereo for sound via a red/ white audio cable??

the box that i wanna put in the boot has a fitted amp.

You will need to run RCA cables from the head unit to your boom/box. If you have the original headunit I do not know if you have the preouts for the cables to fit into. If they are there run the cables down the centre console. I would advise against using the power plug in the rear. Run a proper cable through the bulkhead.

Sound wise it will make the biggest difference possible. If you add/change only one component then go with the sub. Good luck if you decide to go for it.
