General Connect Information?

Been through everything in my handbook and can't find any information about the Connect service using the button on my satnav. Did anyone get anything about it with their car or are we sent it after registering our details with Fiat using the form in the handbook?

Just found the Targasys website which is actually quite interesting. Doesn't help me though!

I assume you mean the green 'C' button. Basically what happens when you press the button is that a text message is sent (via the sim card you should have installed in the appropriate slot) to a control room in Italy. They then phone you back and ask how they can help.

You can ask them anything like the weather forecast for your area, to book you into a restaurant, traffic info etc. and they can even programme the route into the satnav. Haven't used it myself as the satnav map for Northern Ireland isn't great.

By the way you have to register the mobile phone number you plan to use with the Connect Centre in Italy. The dealer should have sorted this all out with you.

Thanks for the info Jonathan. I haven't been given any info about registering with them, will have to go back to my dealer on that one. I tried pressing the green button today but it said I needed to be registered.

Guess by now you will have registered to the Connect system - have you tried it yet ??

I have used it on a few occasions now, with varying degrees of success, from good to abysmal. What about you ??

Nope! Still got no idea how to register. Asked the dealer to get some info a month ago and am still waiting.....[!]
