General confused

can anyone shed sum light on this fog light i got for sale, bin asked if its for a mark 1 ? 2nd question - is it a drivers side or passenger side ? as i hold it up ( the right way ) the bulb is on the left with the mirror bit on the right

I think so, becuase way the loom is towards the inside, BUT you need someone who has a MK1 to have a look and confirm....

Aren't there any part numbers on the unit itself?

the only numbers on the back of the unit is :- 36000 748, and :- PA66-GF 30

There's no separate fog light in MK2.

Its a complete headlight-blinker-fog light unit.

The bar in body color that separates upper from lower part is nothing more than a plastic "mustache"
