Im starting to think faulty PSU too now... :s

I dont know how good you are with PCs either... I've been know to open up the PSU and hoover it all out (voiding the warranty obviously). They get SO much dust in them they can overheat.

Like arc says, open the case up and unplug everything that you do not need to play your games and try then.

Could well be your Mother Board too

Just give a the connectors a good push together too incase there are any lose connections.

just got it to do it while i was watching a copy of terminator i copied earlier from tv

If it's definately not the CPU overheating then the PSU is the main culprit - they are often rated very 'generously' i.e. despite saying 500W (or whatever) if you load it up properly and measure it you may find it's only good for 350W. The cheaper they are the more prominent is this 'fault'.

Top job, I was thinking if you ever want to check your graphics card temps download GPU-Z.

they were high get up to about 70 but nvidias freshold was set to 127 lol

it did start happening when doing other stuff as well
im quite happy to call it surges now
