I know this isn't exactly FIAT-related but I was wondering if anyone wants to buy my computer?

I've got a photo of it but I can't get photos to work on the forum, so if you want to see it let me know and I'll email it to you.

The full spec is:
Intel Celeron 1.7Ghz CPU
192Mb SDRAM (inc. 64mb shared graphice memory)
20Gb Maxtor hard disk
64Mb onboard graphics
52x CD-ROM
(If you want, I can fit a CD writer for £30, a DVD-ROM for £25 or a CD writer/DVD combo drive for £45)
10/100 LAN
Modem
Floppy drive
ATX tower case

Also included are:
15" LG monitor
HP colour printer (not in photo - Deskjet 845C, colour inkjet, less than 1 year old, just needs ink)
Keyboard
Mouse
Speakers
Desk (not in photo - it's beech, 3 drawers and 3 shelves)
All power cables
Software: Windows XP Pro, Office XP, Norton SystemWorks, Autoroute 2002, Corel Draw 8 + more

It all works perfectly, but the printer doesn't have any ink!

I'm in Sheffield so if you're local you can pick it up, otherwise I'll deliver it for the cost of petrol or send it via a courier.

If you're interested leave a reply on here or mail me:

Cheers!

Wrong section dude, there is a classifieds section for stuff for sale, you would probably get more interest in there.

My 4 year old laptop is a better spec than that. Did you forget the decimal point?

That would be epic. I need a new púter. Thinking an iMac 21" when funds are available.

Mac FTW. Im using a 17" Macbook Pro i7 for most of my work now even with just 4Gig of RAM it pisses all over G5 Tower with 9.5Gig RAM.

If your into music the DAC (on the laptop at least) is absolutely amazing for built in. I cant really listen to my ipod now because it just lacks the detail that im getting used too.

I love Macs. So well built. Heft price tag, but as with everything you get what you pay for. Seen an iMac in Comet 21.5" £899.

Is that a good price?

:O unless your seriously into your CAD or you like paying wayyy over the odds for the looks of your tech i wouldn't buy a mac....alternatively, i used to build PC's to order, but there isn't enough money in it to make it a viable small buisness....if you want i could build you one that would be wayyyyy better value for money than anything else you can find as long as its above ~£300....the below £300 PC's are boxes of **** with a nice price tag, hence its impossible for average joe the pc builder to compete...

cad runs fine on windows tho.

i wholeheartedly agree...and would never even be inclined to buy a mac...just seems that certain design packages seem to run better on them...hence why designers and architects use them, this may have been something from the past, but it has lead to software developers developing for mac first in these areas, hence driving the need for a mac over pc....vicious circle lol
