Component Speakers

I have recently purchased a set of JBL GT 6.0c MkII components speakers for my previous car, I now have a 98 S Bravo HLX and was wondering if I could fit these speakers into my car without causing any damage (by using an adapter etc).

Any help would be much appreciated as the speakers would otherwise be worthless.

Hi Harry,

Im my 97 TD100 I have a set of JBL's as well, but fitted them into an MDF board that replaces the boot - cover.
I have the standard radio with Grundig CD - changer, sounds good to me especially because of the rigidness of the MDF board. And i don't have to modify any parts of the car.

jbl speakers

The max. diameter for speakers in the doors is 13cm. Max depth is 70mm.
With adapterrings you can fit any 13cm speaker.
