I'm on 100k as opposed to 56k at work and it took about 3/4 mins to load...on 56k would be really bad. But at least theres a progress bar so you can see how far along its got.Very well designed website also

About 8 seconds on 2mbit-business Broadband.

Approx download speed of 235kb/sec

Man, that's bloody ages! I'm gonna have to make a basic html version and give them the option I think!
Cheers

When it comes to web designing. You are always best to do an HTML version.

It help people on 56k for one, but when you start using flash programs and stuff, not everybody has that software and may not be willing to put it on their computer.

May make people less confused who are less computer literate.

On a lighter note,i am very impressed. Looks good, Not too many colours and easy to follow.

Personally I would make your menu font slightly larger tho. Would make it easier to read for people.

a minute? I don't get it, I've just gone home and tried it on my 1Mb and it takes about 10 seconds!?
I'll try and fiddle with compression, plus make an HTML version

It will all depend on ISP that people are on, how busy the ISP is, What modem they have got, whether they are wired or wirless and if wireless how far away they are from the router.

It took about 2secs on 1Mb broadband on wireless but I am about 2 meters away from the router. If I was to move down stairs then it would probably take 2 minutes.
