hi everyone, own a 2008 bravo 150 multijet and have noticed a tapping noise on cold starts or when its been sitting for 3+ hours.
tapping only happens on idle and up to 2000rpm. the noise will usually dissappear after a few minutes. Anyone have any ideas.
Oil is alwyas on max mark and has had its first service.
The noise has been happens since the vehicle was 6mths old and a fiat dealer suggested the tappets which they replaced to no avail along with a cambelt kit.
Couldnt possibly be piston slap on a new vehicle?
