General Coil spring snapped at bottom..

Today my front left coil spring snapped at the bottom... it was only a tonny bit no bigger than the letter C... is it safe to drive? And is the hub connected to the strut? TIA

It's not safe.
Check the spring isn't cutting your tire.

After checking, it MIGHT be ok to drive it to a repair shop /home.
I wouldn't drive it to long.

Interesting.
Mine was also left front, and snapped at bottom in c-shape.

Shock absorber has a lifted edge so coil wont slip off.
But change it ASAP, both front, off course.
