Cobra 3190 alarm

Hi all,

I have recently bought a brava from an insurance salvage yard. The car had a very poorly wired COBRA 3190 alarm which I have extracted and hope to fit properly.

Does anyone know what this alarms capabilities are..? I cannot find any specifications online.

I will also need to get a new keyfob to control it. It maybe that its cheaper to get a new system if this alrm doesnt offer many features.

Couldn't find any English documentation for it. If you can speak sweedish or at least read it here is a link you might find helpful: http://www.m-sjoberg-ab.se/cobra.htm.

The alarm doesn't look that complcated compared to some i've seen, just looking at the bits and some guess work it appears to have the following as features

- 2x Ultrasonic Sensors
- Remote central locking (interface only) with rotating keycode
- 2x key fob
- the all important flashing LED
- and something that doesn't look very familia with two wires coming from it, which on closer inspection from further down the page looks like some kind of imobaliser key.
- Siren control box etc...

Do you know which variant you have? The Version 3190G has electric window interface, and the 3190H has even more goodies.

perhaps this will reveal all, I think that you have to register to be able to look at their fitting guides, but at least this is in english... and other languages if your first is not english.

i have the same car same alarm and it wont start sometimes well i say i have its the wifes but i recon the imobliser is my probs and i found that may be of use
