A Anonymous Guest Nov 14, 2004 #2 I was always told, if you stick it in 4th at about 10mph, then floor it, you can easily tell if its the clutch... If the car judders a bit and slowly speeds up, it is fine. If the revs go up, but you don't accelerate, your clutch has just about had it... Daz

M Mark W Guest Nov 16, 2004 #3 I drove to the bank,a 5min drive, left the engine running and when i got back in i couldnt depress the clutch at all. Then suddenly it went down all the way and sounded like a fkn bull elephant was under the bonnet.. thats how my clutch went No warning what so ever
