Just still the slow acceleration and sluggishness.
Brilliant newsJust still the slow acceleration and sluggishness.
The warm air coming from the exhaust manifold. - could just need a new rocker gasket.
The white smoke from exhaust.
And lastly. When car is sitting at idle, the engine sometimes fluctuates itself a little bit. And then goes back to idle again.
Although I do have some extremely good news for you all, the car is going to a garage on Friday, they are going to look at exhaust, and do a complete vehicle check over from what they can see.
I have asked them to mainly check engine mounts, and earth cables.
They said they will also take it for a test drive.

Revs raise then lower.fluctuates on idle
Is that revs lower then pick up
Or revs raise then lower
could simply be air being moved through the effect of various pulleys turning, and the built in fan on the alternator. The warm air coming from the exhaust manifold. - could just need a new rocker gasket.
Ever hunt? SorryDoes it ever hunt
The revs raise the lower then raise like in a cycle
In case Adam doesn’t know the term ‘hunt’, it’s a thrum, thrum, thrum noise, maybe one ‘thrum’ a second. (The sort of noise a petrol lawnmower makes when it’s idling , if you’re familiar with that)Does it ever hunt
The revs raise the lower then raise like in a cycle
Yes it does.In case Adam doesn’t know the term ‘hunt’, it’s a thrum, thrum, thrum noise, maybe one ‘thrum’ a second. (The sort of noise a petrol lawnmower makes when it’s idling , if you’re familiar with that)

Or going back to an earlier post.
It just one theory and it needs testing
check for an air leak between the cylinder head and the intake manifold

Here my car, should suck down hard, almost hurts, and hold it for several seconds
It's quite common for the metal inserts to pull out if the engine has overheated
Explanation from this guy
It has a coolant leak sometimes in its past

Looks fine if the heater wasn't working there would be an engine check lightOr going back to an earlier post.
I still think there is something wrong with my pre cat O2 sensor.
The heating element looks like it seems to have failed..
Will also be interesting to see what the garage says on Friday after they have done a test drive of the car.Looks fine if the heater wasn't working there would be an engine check light
I
Yes to the huntingThanks. Will try the throttle body rest tomorrow. So what happens if it doesn't want to suck my hand in. Is that the problem?
So I should expect it to suck my hand in? If it does, that means it's ok, or if it doesn't suck in does that mean its not?Yes to the hunting
