Hi all i must be the unluckiest person in the world in 2 weeks have had problems with accelerator no pull up hills and 4 flat tyres where the inside of wheels were rusty now went out for a run with kids and the clutch pedal clicked and went to the floor and didnt come back up if i put my foot under pedal it comes back up i dont want to spend anymore money on the vehicle think she needs to go to car heaven lol any advice would be great full :bang::bang:

Happens.
Had same problem. If it's 1.9TD, It's the clutch cable. It had self adjusting mechanism incorporated in the cable itself and so costs around 50 quid. Easy job on the TD - about 30 mins or less. Never done a petrol so don't know but heard it's a bit more complicated.

If doing yourself, can walk you through it, Only TD though.
Good luck.

Hi thanks had a idea it was the clutch cable now you have given me more reason to get cable (y)(y)

ive just had same problem,it was the clutch cable, mines a 96 1.9td,good luck getting it sorted

If it's the 1.9TD, and not the clutch cable, it's probably the clutch itself. No hydraulics there.
