Hi All
help! my 2008 Multijet clutch is having problems..today while driving up a fairly rough track..I found it unable to change gear! the pedal was pretty near the bottom..I turned off the engine and lifted the pedal with my foot..managed to go into gear! had this problem last year and the clutch pedal failed completely..the mechanic said the hydraulic hose had failed..and replaced it.After the repair I noted that the pedal seemed much lower than normal..but the mechanic said there was no problem. I have always felt uncomfortable about the fact I could lift the clutch pedal manually with my foot to where it should be.
Anyway just wondering if anyone has an idea what's going on here. Tried moving the car just now and found it difficult to change gear it was actually stuck in 1st..turned the engine off and lifted the pedal until I could get it into neutral and then into reverse so I could park.
Any advice much appreciated
