Clutch gearbox issues stilo 1.6

hi, just wondering , took to garage (fiat) diagnosed clutch , gearbox

Thought I'd take it to local who I paid 220 incl fitting for clutch , just had gearbox done and car is revving in second third etc whilst driving without pulling to what rev counter says, also clutch has been sticking, he says that loads of oil from box got onto clutch hence slipping and as drys out will fix this , I'm dubious as not sure if this is normal? He told me to lay off revs for a while, car feels absolute like it couldnt pull up hills ,

i had a problem with my clutch and gearbox aparently its quite a commen problem with fiat's , i got a brand new clutch myself then stupidly without checking out my gearbox i just fitted it, 2 days later my gearbox is leaking all over the shot, and ****ing up my new clutch, so i went to a garage and they said i fitted the clutch as well as they could my gear box just needs serviceing and new bearings etc, cost me 120 quid and now its like brand new. but dont go to fiat when your cars broke unless u want masive bills , ask some friends or if your young ask your dad if hes got any friends who could forward you to a cheap macanic whos good at his job
