General Clunking Noise and Vibration when setting off

Hi guys have had a problem for a few weeks with my Fiat Grande Punto - Semi Auto - 2007 and was wondering if you could help me to diagnose the problem. After setting off my car vibrates and also after setting off you can hear a clunking noise coming from the front , my guess is the engine mounts as everything points towards that ? Any help would be appreciated.

If it is one clunk as take up drive then a gearbox mount is quite common, if it a metallic rattle that is worse in steering in one direction than the opposite , then a drive shaft/CV joint is a common cause.
I don't know the design of your automatic system but I have had torque convertors coming loose from the flywheel on automatics that can rattle.

A worn clutch can cause a judder when you set off. At 70,000 milies the car is probably still on its original clutch and it may need replacing.

Hi mate , quick update , it ended up being one of the control arms , hence the vibration and clunking
